Why pool size matters
Big job boards reward volume. Listings pile up thousands of applicants, and strong resumes still get buried. Homepage pain is real: endless scrolling, forms that take forever, and applications that vanish.

How the cap works
A role appears in matched feeds for people who fit it.
Seekers swipe and apply.
When applications on that role hit 50, the role leaves the feed for everyone.
People who already applied stay in that capped pool; new seekers stop seeing it.
The number is the product rule: 50 max per role. No unlimited spray onto the same listing inside Poozle.
Matching + the cap
The cap alone isn’t enough. Matching aims to put qualified people into that small pool — based on your profile, resume, and preferences — so the fifty aren’t random. Swiping teaches the feed what you want next.

- Each job on Poozle accepts at most 50 applications through the app. That’s a hard product limit, not a soft suggestion.
- What happens when a job hits 50 applicants?
- We remove it from everyone’s feed so the pool doesn’t keep growing. If you already applied, you’re still in that capped set.
- Why doesn’t Poozle let unlimited people apply?
- Unlimited apply sounds helpful and usually isn’t. Giant pools make individual applications invisible. The cap keeps pools small on purpose.
- Does a small pool guarantee I’ll get an interview?
- No. A smaller pool improves the odds a person can see your application. Hiring still depends on fit, timing, and the employer.
- Is the 50-cap different on Free vs Pro?
